đź§© Step-by-Step Written Guide
Step 1 — Assemble the Acrylic Case
- Unpack all components: miner board, LCD screen, screws, acrylic case pieces.
- Remove protective film from every acrylic panel.
- Position the LCD screen so it lines up with the front window.
- Insert screws and tighten lightly:
- Long screws → front
- Short screws → back
- Place the rear shell on and align all holes. Insert short screws.
- Tighten gently — acrylic can crack if overtightened.
Step 2 — Power Up & Enter WiFi Setup
- Plug the NMminer into any USB power source (USB brick, hub, or computer).
- The device checks for saved WiFi. If none are found, it enters setup mode automatically after ~15 seconds.
- On your phone/computer, connect to:
WiFi Network:nmap-2.4g
Password: (no password — open network) - Most phones and PCs will redirect automatically. If not, open this IP address in your browser:
http://192.168.4.1
Step 3 — Configure Mining Settings
- Select your home WiFi network and enter your WiFi password.
- Enter your Bitcoin wallet receive address (public address only).
- Optionally select your mining pool.
- Click Save.
- Wait 10–15 seconds — the device will reboot automatically. Do not unplug it.
Step 4 — Start Mining
- After reboot, the NMminer connects to your WiFi automatically.
- The screen updates with live stats: hashrate, difficulty, shares, etc.
- You can verify activity using the pool explorer.
- You're mining — just leave it plugged in and running.
đź› Troubleshooting & Tips

“nmap-2.4g” WiFi doesn’t show
• Stand within 3–5 ft during setup
• Unplug → plug back in to restart AP mode -
Stuck on “Connecting…”
• Double-check WiFi password exactly
• Must use a 2.4GHz network (NMminer cannot join 5GHz)
• Power-cycle the device and retry -
Screen is blank
• Tap the power/user button to wake the display
• Check brightness on the configuration page -
Miner won’t power on
• Use a USB source rated for 5V / 1A minimum -
Pool connection issues
• ASUS routers: disable “AI Protection” temporarily
• Try a different BTC address format (some pools reject certain types)
