Case Assembly & First Power On

🧩 Step-by-Step Written Guide

Step 1 — Assemble the Acrylic Case

  • Unpack all components: miner board, LCD screen, screws, acrylic case pieces.
  • Remove protective film from every acrylic panel.
  • Position the LCD screen so it lines up with the front window.
  • Insert screws and tighten lightly:
    • Long screws → front
    • Short screws → back
  • Place the rear shell on and align all holes. Insert short screws.
  • Tighten gently — acrylic can crack if overtightened.

Step 2 — Power Up & Enter WiFi Setup

  • Plug the miner into any USB power source (USB brick, hub, or computer).
  • The miner checks for saved WiFi. After ~15 seconds it enters setup mode.
  • On your phone/computer, connect to:
    WiFi Network: NerdMinerAP
    Password: MineYourCoins
  • Most phones and PC's will redirect automatically. If not, open this IP address in your browser: http://192.168.4.1

Step 3 — Configure Mining Settings

  • Click "Configure Wifi" on the device home screen
  • Enter your home wifi network name and password
  • Enter your Bitcoin wallet receive address (public address only).
  • Optionally choose your mining pool.
  • Click Save.
  • Wait 10–15 seconds — the device will reboot itself.

Step 4 — Start Mining

  • After reboot, the miner connects to your WiFi automatically.
  • The screen updates with live stats: hashrate, difficulty, shares, etc.
  • You can verify this information from the pool explorer
  • At this point, you’re mining — just leave it plugged in.
